Wilwood Front Dynapro Conversion with Red Calipers & SRP Rotors for Acura RSX / Honda Element / Civic

This front Dynapro 6A package brings together 12.19-inch srp drilled & slotted brake rotors, pads and red 6-piston Wilwood calipers for Acura RSX / Honda Element / Civic (2002–2011). Rotor registration, caliper mounting and the wheel envelope should all be compared with the installation drawing. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc-brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range spans calipers and brake rotors through master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, all requiring selection to suit the other parts of the brake system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17519-DR; supplied as an axle kit.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches; piston area 4.04 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Hydraulic lines: Hydraulic flexlines and fittings are not included; select compatible lines for the complete installation.
• Hardware and retained components: Mounting hardware supplied; existing wheel hubs retained; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not included.
• Rotor hats: Aluminum big brake hat - short offset; Black E-Coat; hat offset 0.730 inches. Hat offset is distinct from axle offset.
• Service calipers: Dynapro 6; 6 pistons per caliper; Red Powder Coat; lug mounting; stainless pistons.
• Supplied friction pads: BP-10 compound; match operating conditions to the intended use.
• Brake rotor size: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 0.81-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.500 in; 12.70 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.
• Wheel envelope: 15-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.
• Rotor specification: Material: Iron; Type: SRP Drilled Rotor; Style: SRP Drilled & Slotted; Surface Finish: Black Electro Coat.

Fitment & Compatibility

The table below identifies Acura RSX, Honda Element and the specified Civic configurations. Match the exact five-lug hub and brake option to DS1559; a four-lug car cannot be converted merely by fitting these rotor hats. The aluminum hat mounts on the existing hub, and hydraulic hoses must be purchased separately. A nominal 15-inch wheel remains subject to the complete clearance drawing.
