Black Dynapro 6A calipers provide the hydraulic service braking in this Wilwood front conversion for Acura RSX / Honda Element / Civic (2002–2011). They work with 12.19 × 0.81-inch plain face rotors; the vehicle designation must be considered together with the mounting details below. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. Its work covers the design and manufacture of disc-brake systems and components for specialized vehicles, motorsport and street-performance use. The product range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; compatibility depends on the complete system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17519; supplied as an axle kit.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches; piston area 4.04 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor hats: Aluminum big brake hat - short offset; Black E-Coat; hat offset 0.730 inches. Hat offset is distinct from axle offset.
• Supplied friction pads: BP-10 compound; match operating conditions to the intended use.
• Service calipers: Dynapro 6; 6 pistons per caliper; Black Powder Coat; lug mounting; stainless pistons.
• Brake rotor size: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 0.81-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Wheel envelope: 15-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.
• Hydraulic lines: Hydraulic flexlines and fittings are not included; select compatible lines for the complete installation.
• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.500 in; 12.70 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.
• Hardware and retained components: Mounting hardware supplied; existing wheel hubs retained; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not included.
• Rotor specification: Material: Iron; Type: Ultralite HP 32; Style: Plain Face; Surface Finish: Plain.

Fitment & Compatibility

The table below identifies Acura RSX, Honda Element and the specified Civic configurations. Match the exact five-lug hub and brake option to DS1559; a four-lug car cannot be converted merely by fitting these rotor hats. The aluminum hat mounts on the existing hub, and hydraulic hoses must be purchased separately. A nominal 15-inch wheel remains subject to the complete clearance drawing.
