Convert the documented Toyota Tacoma / 4Runner / FJ Cruiser / Lexus GX470 / GX460 (2003–2024) front brake arrangement with Wilwood AERO6-DM calipers and srp drilled & slotted rotors. This selection has black calipers, 6 pistons per service caliper and 13.31-inch rotor diameter, with fit determined by the installed hardware. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc-brake components and systems. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Motorsport, specialized applications and street-performance vehicles use its range of calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with component selection matched to the finished brake system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17511-D; supplied as an axle kit.
• Brake rotor size: 13.31-inch outside diameter × 1.26-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Supplied friction pads: BP-22 compound; match operating conditions to the intended use.
• Wheel envelope: 17-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.
• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 6 x 5.5 in; 6 x 139.7 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.58 in; 14.73 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.
• Service calipers: AERODM; 6 pistons per caliper; Black Powder Coat; lug mounting; stainless pistons.
• Hardware and retained components: Mounting hardware supplied; existing wheel hubs retained; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not included.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches; piston area 5.06 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the complete table below for Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner and FJ Cruiser, plus Lexus GX470 and GX460; their model years differ. DS1569 requires trimming the dust shield for rotor and caliper clearance. Verify the original front upright, hub register and installed brake package. These calipers use the stated 5.06-square-inch hydraulic area and should not be confused with the larger-area later-4Runner version.
