Wilwood Rear AERO4/MC4 Brake Kit for C7 Front Uprights on Custom Chassis, Black, 14.00-Inch GT Rotors

This rear AERO4/MC4 package brings together 14.00-inch gt slotted brake rotors, pads and black 4-piston Wilwood calipers for C7 Front Uprights on Custom Rear Chassis. Rotor registration, caliper mounting and the wheel envelope should all be compared with the installation drawing. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc-brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range spans calipers and brake rotors through master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, all requiring selection to suit the other parts of the brake system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17142; supplied as an axle kit.
• Parking brake: Separate MC4 mechanical parking calipers supplied; arrange suitable cable operation.
• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.580 in; 14.73 mm; 0.520 in; 13.21 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.
• Rotor hats: Aluminum big brake hat - flared bell; Black E-Coat; hat offset 0.540 inches. Hat offset is distinct from axle offset.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.12, 1.12 inches; piston area 1.98 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: Material: Spec-37 Iron; Type: GT 72 Curved Vane; Style: GT Slotted; Surface Finish: Black Electro Coat.
• Service calipers: AERO4; 4 pistons per caliper; Black Powder Coat; radial mounting; stainless pistons.
• Supplied friction pads: BP-10 compound; match operating conditions to the intended use.
• Brake rotor size: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Hardware and retained components: Mounting hardware supplied; existing wheel hubs retained; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not included.
• Hydraulic lines: Hydraulic flexlines and fittings are not included; select compatible lines for the complete installation.
• Wheel envelope: 18-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.

Fitment & Compatibility

DS1528 documents a C7 Corvette front upright used at the rear of a custom chassis. Verify the Roadster Shop Fast Track IRS arrangement and exact upright, hub register, stud pattern and 18-inch wheel clearance; this is not a stock C7 rear-brake replacement. The MC4 is a separate mechanically actuated parking caliper. Plan compatible cable actuation and separate hydraulic hoses.
