Wilwood Rear Drilled 12.19-Inch Rotor & Dynalite Caliper Kit, G-Body 2.62-Inch Flange, Black

The 12.19 × 0.81-inch srp drilled & slotted rotors define this Dynalite rear brake package for GM G-Body Flange. Wilwood supplies black 4-piston calipers for the specified installation, with the rotor width and mounting hardware selected as a system. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines support motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses, with each component chosen in relation to the complete brake system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17121-D; supplied as an axle kit.
• Housing-flange requirement: G-Body flange; 2.62-inch axle offset, measured using the manufacturer worksheet.
• Machining prerequisite: Housing-flange material removal and two drilled holes required; follow the specific drawing and arrange qualified machine-shop work.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.38, 1.38 inches; piston area 3.00 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Hydraulic lines: Hydraulic flexlines and fittings are not included; select compatible lines for the complete installation.
• Parking brake: Internal shoe parking brake supplied; cables, cable hardware and adapters are separate.
• Brake rotor size: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 0.81-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Wheel envelope: 15-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.
• Service calipers: Forged Dynalite Internal; 4 pistons per caliper; Black Powder Coat; lug mounting; stainless pistons.

• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.

Fitment & Compatibility

A G-Body axle flange and 2.62-inch measured axle offset are the mounting prerequisites for this rear conversion. The machining shown in DS1547 includes removal of interfering flange material and drilling two holes; arrange qualified machine-shop work. The parking-brake cable connection requires separate cables, hardware and adapters. Match the axle register, stud diameter and wheel envelope to the 12.19-inch rotor package.
