The 14.00-inch FNSL6R front conversion supplies six-piston calipers, rotor rings, separate hats and replacement aluminum hubs for No Limit Engineering ZG spindles. Bearings and mounting hardware belong to this specific fabricated-spindle package. Red calipers and 14.00-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was established by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are matched to the requirements of the whole system.
Technical Details
- Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-17089-R; quantity one brake kit.
- The piston diameter specification is 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches, paired with BP-10 brake pads.
- Hats are made from aluminum with a black e-coat surface treatment. Their offset dimension is 1.470 inch.
- Aluminum hubs, bearings and seals are supplied. Wheel pattern choices: 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00 inches, with 1/2-20 studs.
- Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
- Nominal wheel minimum: 18 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
- Flexlines are not included. Choose the required hydraulic hoses and adapters separately.
- Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
- Brake rotor specification: GT 72 Curved Vane, with GT slotted friction faces. Overall size is 14.00 × 1.25 inches. Material: Spec-37 Iron.
- Radial-mounted Forged Narrow Superlite 6R calipers are supplied. Each has 6 pistons in stainless, with red powder coat on the caliper body.
Fitment & Compatibility
The 14-inch kit is selected for the No Limit Engineering ZG spindle after the DS-1543 modifications. A qualified machinist should cut away the interfering ears and drill/tap the two new mounting holes on both uprights. The new hubs and 1.47-inch-offset hats then locate the rotor assembly; an unmodified spindle will not accept the brake package. Confirm 18-inch wheel clearance and the chosen hub pattern. No spindles or hydraulic hoses come with the kit.
