The 14.00-inch FNSL6R front conversion supplies six-piston calipers, rotor rings, separate hats and replacement aluminum hubs for No Limit Engineering ZG spindles. Red calipers and 14.00-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Bearings and mounting hardware belong to this specific fabricated-spindle package. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems, with selection governed by the complete brake installation.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer identification: 140-17089-DR, supplied as one application-specific kit.
  • Rotor dimensions (diameter/width): 14.00 / 1.25 inches. SRP Drilled & Slotted design in Spec-37 Iron.
  • Pads supplied: BP-10. Piston bore dimensions: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches.
  • Wheel hubs are part of this package: aluminum construction, 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00-inch patterns and 1/2-20 wheel studs; bearings and seals are included.
  • An 18-inch nominal wheel is the starting point. Its spoke and barrel shape must clear the actual brake assembly.
  • Mounting hardware and brake pads come with the kit. Spindles, a master cylinder and a brake booster are not included.
  • Service caliper specification: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R in red powder coat, using radial mounting and 6 stainless pistons.
  • Hat material/finish: aluminum / black e-coat. Published hat offset: 1.470 inch.
  • The specified caliper hydraulic connection is 1/8-27 NPT.
  • This package excludes flexible brake hoses. Select the documented caliper and chassis-end connections separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch kit is selected for the No Limit Engineering ZG spindle after the DS-1543 modifications. A qualified machinist should cut away the interfering ears and drill/tap the two new mounting holes on both uprights. The new hubs and 1.47-inch-offset hats then locate the rotor assembly; an unmodified spindle will not accept the brake package. Confirm 18-inch wheel clearance and the chosen hub pattern. No spindles or hydraulic hoses come with the kit.
