Product details

Black calipers and 14.00-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. The 14.00-inch FNSL6R front conversion supplies six-piston calipers, rotor rings, separate hats and replacement aluminum hubs for No Limit Engineering ZG spindles. Bearings and mounting hardware belong to this specific fabricated-spindle package. Wilwood Engineering, founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Each component must suit the surrounding brake system.

Technical Details

  • Kit reference: Wilwood manufacturer part number 140-17089-D. Supplied quantity is one kit.
  • The brake package includes pads and required mounting hardware, excluding spindles, master cylinder and booster.
  • Hydraulic line selection is a separate purchase. Check hose length, adapters and routing before assembly.
  • Check the wheel-clearance diagram before purchase; the nominal minimum wheel diameter is 18 inches.
  • Connect the hydraulic line through the 1/8-27 NPT caliper inlet.
  • The kit includes new aluminum hubs and their bearing hardware. Select the 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00-inch wheel pattern and 1/2-20 studs.
  • The rotor assembly uses 1.470-inch-offset aluminum hats finished in black e-coat.
  • BP-10 pads are included. The manufacturer lists piston bores of 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches.
  • Braking is provided by 6-piston Forged Narrow Superlite 6R calipers, finished in black powder coat. Pistons are stainless; the mounting arrangement is radial.
  • SRP Drilled & Slotted rotor selection, 14.00 inches in diameter and 1.25 inch wide. The specified material is Spec-37 Iron.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch kit is selected for the No Limit Engineering ZG spindle after the DS-1543 modifications. A qualified machinist should cut away the interfering ears and drill/tap the two new mounting holes on both uprights. The new hubs and 1.47-inch-offset hats then locate the rotor assembly; an unmodified spindle will not accept the brake package. Confirm 18-inch wheel clearance and the chosen hub pattern. No spindles or hydraulic hoses come with the kit.
