The 14.00-inch FNSL6R front conversion supplies six-piston calipers, rotor rings, separate hats and replacement aluminum hubs for No Limit Engineering ZG spindles. Bearings and mounting hardware belong to this specific fabricated-spindle package. Black calipers and 14.00-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

  • Wilwood kit number 140-17089; sold as the listed axle brake package.
  • Forged Narrow Superlite 6R service calipers have 6 pistons and radial mounts. The finish is black powder coat; piston material is stainless.
  • Caliper bore sizes are 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches; the axle pad set uses BP-10 compound.
  • Separate aluminum hats position the rotor with 1.470 inch offset and a black e-coat finish.
  • Replacement hubs are aluminum and come with the specified bearings/seals. Wheel drilling: 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00 inches; studs: 1/2-20.
  • Caliper inlet thread is 1/8-27 NPT.
  • Published minimum rim diameter is 18 inches. Use the template to check spoke clearance as well.
  • Provide suitable flexible hoses and caliper/chassis fittings; the brake kit does not supply flexlines.
  • Supplied items include the pads and mounting fasteners; no replacement spindle, master cylinder or booster is included.
  • The supplied rotor measures 14.00 inches across and 1.25 inch thick. Surface configuration: GT slotted; construction: Spec-37 Iron.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch kit is selected for the No Limit Engineering ZG spindle after the DS-1543 modifications. A qualified machinist should cut away the interfering ears and drill/tap the two new mounting holes on both uprights. The new hubs and 1.47-inch-offset hats then locate the rotor assembly; an unmodified spindle will not accept the brake package. Confirm 18-inch wheel clearance and the chosen hub pattern. No spindles or hydraulic hoses come with the kit.
