The 12.88-inch FNSL6R front conversion supplies six-piston calipers, rotor rings, separate hats and replacement aluminum hubs for No Limit Engineering ZG spindles. Bearings and mounting hardware belong to this specific fabricated-spindle package. Black calipers and 12.88-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-17088. One kit for the documented axle/application.
  • Rotors: 12.88-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness, GT slotted faces, Spec-37 Iron material.
  • Calipers: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R, 6 pistons, stainless piston material. Radial mount and black powder coat finish.
  • Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Included pads: BP-20.
  • Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat, 1.470-inch offset.
  • Aluminum hubs, bearings and seals are supplied. Wheel pattern choices: 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00 inches, with 1/2-20 studs.
  • Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
  • Nominal wheel minimum: 17 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
  • Flexlines are not included. Choose the required hydraulic hoses and adapters separately.
  • Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.

Fitment & Compatibility

Requires the matching No Limit Engineering ZG spindle. Substantial spindle machining is part of the conversion: remove the two interfering ears and drill/tap two mounting holes on both spindles exactly as DS-1543 describes, preferably through a qualified machine shop. This is not a direct bolt-on package for an unmodified spindle. Verify wheel pattern, register and caliper envelope. Hoses and spindles are not supplied.
