Wilwood Front Brake Conversion, Anodized UTV6 Race / Plain 11.25-Inch Package for Polaris RZR XP 1000/RS1/S 1000/S4 1000 (2014–2023)

Six-piston UTV6 calipers, BP-28 pads and 11.25-inch solid rotor rings make up this RZR front race package. Its dynamic adapter/retaining-ring design attaches to the original front wheel hubs. Anodized calipers and 11.25-inch plain face rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-17044; quantity one brake kit.
• The piston diameter specification is 1.25, 1.12, 1.12 inches, paired with BP-28 brake pads.
• Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
• Hydraulic inlet: M10 x 1.25.
• Nominal wheel minimum: 15 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
• Hoses are not included; follow the installation-specific instructions for factory hose ends and supplied banjo hardware.
• Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
• Brake rotor specification: Solid Steel Rotor, with plain face friction faces. Overall size is 11.25 × 0.25 inches. Material: Steel.
• Lug-mounted UTV6 calipers are supplied. Each has 6 pistons in stainless, with Type III anodize on the caliper body.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the complete XP 1000/XP 4 1000, RS1, S 1000 and S4 1000 model entries, including High Lifter, Ride Command, Trails and Rocks, DYNAMIX, Sport, Premium and Ultimate versions. The upright caliper tabs require grinding for inboard pad clearance. Trial-assemble the bracket, caliper and pad first, then remove only the interfering material according to DS-1499.
