Wilwood Front UTV6 Race Brake Kit for Honda Talon 1000R/1000X/1000X-4 (2019–2021), Anodized Calipers and 11.25-Inch Plain Rotors

Six-piston UTV6 calipers and plain-face solid steel rotor rings form the Talon front race package. The 11.25-inch rings use a dynamic lug-drive connection to separate adapters on the retained hubs. Anodized calipers and 11.25-inch plain face rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Product identification: Wilwood 140-17038. Package quantity: one kit for the stated configuration.
• The brake package includes pads and required mounting hardware, excluding spindles, master cylinder and booster.
• Hydraulic hose selection is separate. The assembly sheet identifies the reused hose connection and replacement banjo hardware.
• Check the wheel-clearance diagram before purchase; the nominal minimum wheel diameter is 15 inches.
• Connect the hydraulic line through the M10 x 1.25 caliper inlet.
• This assembly leaves the documented wheel hubs in use. It supplies brake components rather than new hubs.
• Piston sizing follows the published 1.12, 1.12, 1.00-inch specification. The included brake-pad compound is BP-28.
• Caliper selection is 6-piston UTV6. Body finish: Type III anodize; attachment: lug; piston material: stainless.
• Rotor package uses Solid Steel Rotor components. Each is 0.25 inch thick with 11.25-inch diameter and plain faces. Published material: Steel.

Fitment & Compatibility

Retain the matching Honda Talon front hubs and confirm the exact 1000R, 1000X or four-seat 1000X-4 entry, including the listed FOX Live Valve and Special Edition models. When reusing the original hoses, the locating prong must be shortened and the supplied replacement banjo bolt used; do not reuse the original banjo bolt.
