Wilwood Rear GT Slotted Brake Kit for Chevrolet Corvette/Corvette E-Ray C8 (2020–2025) with 15-Inch Rotors, Red AERO4/EPB Dynamic

The C8 rear conversion pairs AERO4 four-piston hydraulic service calipers with separate electric parking calipers and 15.00-inch dynamic-mount rotors. Braided hydraulic lines and parking-caliper wiring pigtails are included for the factory Corvette arrangement. Red calipers and 15.00-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was established by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are matched to the requirements of the whole system.

Technical Details

• Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-17009-R; quantity one brake kit.
• The piston diameter specification is 1.62, 1.38 inches, paired with BP-10 brake pads.
• Hats are made from aluminum with a Type III anodize surface treatment. Their offset dimension is 0.268 inch.
• Hat drillings: 5 x 4.72 inches; the existing wheel hub still determines the wheel-lug pattern.
• Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
• Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Nominal wheel minimum: 19 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
• Included braided flexline kit: 220-17008. Match its chassis fittings and final routing.
• EPB calipers and wiring pigtails are included for connection to the documented original Corvette parking-brake harness.
• Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
• Brake rotor specification: GT 72 Curved Vane, with GT slotted friction faces. Overall size is 15.00 × 1.25 inches. Material: Spec-37 Iron.
• Radial-mounted AERO4 calipers are supplied. Each has 4 pistons in stainless, with red powder coat on the caliper body.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the individual Corvette Stingray, Z06, Corvette E-Ray and ZR1 year/trim rows and the actual hub/upright geometry. DS-1534 connects the supplied EPB calipers to the existing Corvette parking-brake wiring through the included pigtails; it does not use a separate universal controller installation. Follow its battery-disconnection procedure before brake work, route both hoses and wiring clear of rotating parts, and test parking hold after installation.
