Wilwood Rear Red Caliper and Drilled/Slotted Rotor Conversion for Chevrolet Corvette/Corvette E-Ray C8 (2020–2025), AERO4/EPB Dynamic / 15 Inch

The C8 rear conversion pairs AERO4 four-piston hydraulic service calipers with separate electric parking calipers and 15.00-inch dynamic-mount rotors. Red calipers and 15.00-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Braided hydraulic lines and parking-caliper wiring pigtails are included for the factory Corvette arrangement. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems, with selection governed by the complete brake installation.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer identification: 140-17009-DR, supplied as one application-specific kit.
• Rotor dimensions (diameter/width): 15.00 / 1.25 inches. SRP Drilled & Slotted design in Spec-37 Iron.
• Pads supplied: BP-10. Piston bore dimensions: 1.62, 1.38 inches.
• Match the retained hub to the hat holes (5 x 4.72 inches); no new wheel-hub pattern is created.
• The specified caliper hydraulic connection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• Hose package 220-17008 is included. Keep the braided lines free of strain, abrasion and contact with moving parts.
• Mounting hardware and brake pads come with the kit. Spindles, a master cylinder and a brake booster are not included.
• Service caliper specification: AERO4 in red powder coat, using radial mounting and 4 stainless pistons.
• Hat material/finish: aluminum / Type III anodize. Published hat offset: 0.268 inch.
• Verify the existing hub dimensions: replacement wheel hubs are outside the scope of this package.
• A 19-inch nominal wheel is the starting point. Its spoke and barrel shape must clear the actual brake assembly.
• EPB calipers and wiring pigtails are included for connection to the documented original Corvette parking-brake harness.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the individual Corvette Stingray, Z06, Corvette E-Ray and ZR1 year/trim rows and the actual hub/upright geometry. DS-1534 connects the supplied EPB calipers to the existing Corvette parking-brake wiring through the included pigtails; it does not use a separate universal controller installation. Follow its battery-disconnection procedure before brake work, route both hoses and wiring clear of rotating parts, and test parking hold after installation.
