Wilwood Rear Dynapro Low-Profile Brake Kit, BOP 2.75-Inch Bearing Axles: 11-Inch Plain Rotors with Black Calipers

This staggered rear brake conversion combines four-piston Dynapro Low-Profile service calipers with 11.00-inch rotors and internal drum parking-brake assemblies. The axle interface is the BOP 2.75-inch bearing flange with a 2.75-inch axle offset. Black calipers and 11.00-inch plain face rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-16988; quantity one brake kit.
• The piston diameter specification is 1.38, 1.38 inches, paired with BP-10 brake pads.
• Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
• Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Nominal wheel minimum: 14 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
• Flexlines are not included. Choose the required hydraulic hoses and adapters separately.
• Drum parking-brake assemblies are included inside the rotor hats. Supply parking cables, cable hardware/adapters and hydraulic hoses/fittings separately.
• Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
• Brake rotor specification: Ultralite HP 32 & Hat, with plain face friction faces. Overall size is 11.00 × 0.81 inches. Material: Iron.
• Lug-mounted Forged Dynapro Low Profile calipers are supplied. Each has 4 pistons in stainless, with black powder coat on the caliper body.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use measured axle dimensions: BOP 2.75-inch bearing flange, 2.75-inch offset and the staggered shock/caliper layout. DS-1529 describes the 1964–1970 Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac axle arrangement, but no particular vehicle model is established here. Confirm the flange drawing, rotor register and axle-flange maximum of 6.61 inches with the specified chamfer. The rotor hat is drilled for 1/2-inch wheel studs; upgrading smaller studs may require machining. Hydraulic hoses/fittings and parking cables, hardware or adapters are not supplied.
