Wilwood Front Brake Package for Chrysler PT Cruiser/Dodge Neon SRT-4 (2001–2010): Black Dynapro 6 Calipers, 12.19-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors

Black calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. The Dynapro 6 front brake kit combines six-piston lug-mount calipers with 12.19-inch rotors and separate short-offset hats. It is a conversion for the documented PT Cruiser and Neon SRT-4 front hub/upright arrangement. Wilwood Engineering, founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Each component must suit the surrounding brake system.

Technical Details

• Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-16827-D; quantity one brake kit.
• The piston diameter specification is 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches, paired with BP-10 brake pads.
• Hats are made from aluminum with a black e-coat surface treatment. Their offset dimension is 0.500 inch.
• Hat drillings: 5 x 3.93 inches; the existing wheel hub still determines the wheel-lug pattern.
• Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
• Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Nominal wheel minimum: 15 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
• Flexlines are not included. Choose the required hydraulic hoses and adapters separately.
• Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
• Brake rotor specification: SRP Drilled Rotor, with SRP drilled & slotted friction faces. Overall size is 12.19 × 0.81 inches. Material: Iron.
• Lug-mounted Dynapro 6 calipers are supplied. Each has 6 pistons in stainless, with black powder coat on the caliper body.

Fitment & Compatibility

PT Cruiser entries span 2001–2010 with rear-drum and rear-disc configurations, including the specifically listed turbocharged versions. Neon SRT-4 coverage is 2003–2005 only; do not treat that as fitment for every Neon. Match the exact year and factory brake option, retained hub, hat register and wheel-clearance drawing. Some 15-inch wheels may clear, subject to the drawing. Read the fitment table below for the exact year and option combination; do not apply one row's restrictions to another vehicle.
