Wilwood Front Plain-Rotor Brake Kit for Chrysler PT Cruiser/Dodge Neon SRT-4 (2001–2010) with 12.19-Inch Rotors, Black Dynapro 6

The Dynapro 6 front brake kit combines six-piston lug-mount calipers with 12.19-inch rotors and separate short-offset hats. It is a conversion for the documented PT Cruiser and Neon SRT-4 front hub/upright arrangement. Black calipers and 12.19-inch plain face rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer identification: 140-16827, supplied as one application-specific kit.
• Rotor dimensions (diameter/width): 12.19 / 0.81 inches. Plain Face design in Iron.
• Pads supplied: BP-10. Piston bore dimensions: 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches.
• Match the retained hub to the hat holes (5 x 3.93 inches); no new wheel-hub pattern is created.
• The specified caliper hydraulic connection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• This package excludes flexible brake hoses. Select the documented caliper and chassis-end connections separately.
• Service caliper specification: Dynapro 6 in black powder coat, using lug mounting and 6 stainless pistons.
• Hat material/finish: aluminum / black e-coat. Published hat offset: 0.500 inch.
• Verify the existing hub dimensions: replacement wheel hubs are outside the scope of this package.
• A 15-inch nominal wheel is the starting point. Its spoke and barrel shape must clear the actual brake assembly.
• Mounting hardware and brake pads come with the kit. Spindles, a master cylinder and a brake booster are not included.

Fitment & Compatibility

PT Cruiser entries span 2001–2010 with rear-drum and rear-disc configurations, including the specifically listed turbocharged versions. Neon SRT-4 coverage is 2003–2005 only; do not treat that as fitment for every Neon. Match the exact year and factory brake option, retained hub, hat register and wheel-clearance drawing.
