Wilwood Front Red AERO6-DM Brake Conversion for Ford F-150 Raptor (2017–2020), 13.38-Inch GT Slotted Rotors

For the 2017–2020 Raptor, AERO6-DM direct-mount front calipers are combined with 13.38-inch one-piece rotors and the matching braided hose package. The conversion uses six-piston calipers without replacing the wheel hubs. Red calipers and 13.38-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was established by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are matched to the requirements of the whole system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer identification: 140-16808-R, supplied as one application-specific kit.
• Rotor dimensions (diameter/width): 13.38 / 1.25 inches. GT Slotted design in Iron.
• Pads supplied: BP-22. Piston bore dimensions: 1.75, 1.62, 1.62 inches.
• The specified caliper hydraulic connection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• Hose package 220-15838 is included. Keep the braided lines free of strain, abrasion and contact with moving parts.
• Service caliper specification: AERODM in red powder coat, using lug mounting and 6 stainless pistons.
• Verify the existing hub dimensions: replacement wheel hubs are outside the scope of this package.
• A 17-inch nominal wheel is the starting point. Its spoke and barrel shape must clear the actual brake assembly.
• Mounting hardware and brake pads come with the kit. Spindles, a master cylinder and a brake booster are not included.

Fitment & Compatibility

Listed specifically for Ford F-150 Raptor 2017–2020. Verify the second-generation Raptor front upright and included hose arrangement; the earlier SVT Raptor and later 2021-up truck use different package selections. Remove the original dust shields as directed and check both rim and spoke clearance using the installation drawing.
