Wilwood Front Drilled/Slotted Brake Kit for GM 1500 Trucks/SUVs (2007–2020) with 13.38-Inch Rotors, Red AERO6-DM

For the listed later GM truck uprights, this front AERO6-DM package uses 13.38-inch slip-on rotors and six-piston direct-mount calipers. Red calipers and 13.38-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Its included 24-inch flexlines connect the new calipers while the original wheel hubs remain in place. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems, with selection governed by the complete brake installation.

Technical Details

• Product identification: Wilwood 140-16804-DR. Package quantity: one kit for the stated configuration.
• The brake package includes pads and required mounting hardware, excluding spindles, master cylinder and booster.
• The kit supplies braided flexlines (220-10979). Confirm their chassis-end fit and routing on the actual vehicle.
• Check the wheel-clearance diagram before purchase; the nominal minimum wheel diameter is 17 inches.
• Connect the hydraulic line through the 1/8-27 NPT caliper inlet.
• This assembly leaves the documented wheel hubs in use. It supplies brake components rather than new hubs.
• Piston sizing follows the published 1.75, 1.62, 1.62-inch specification. The included brake-pad compound is BP-22.
• Caliper selection is 6-piston AERODM. Body finish: red powder coat; attachment: lug; piston material: stainless.
• Rotor package uses SRP Drilled Rotor & Hat components. Each is 1.25 inch thick with 13.38-inch diameter and SRP drilled & slotted faces. Published material: Iron.

Coverage is separated by model: Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500 Pickup/1500/1500 LD, Suburban 1500/Suburban and Tahoe; GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup/1500/1500 Limited, Yukon, Yukon XL 1500 and Yukon XL; Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT. Read the individual years, 2007 New Style designation, police-package, pad-clip and rear-brake entries. Dust-shield trimming may be required. Retain and safely secure any factory pad-wear sensor wire as instructed; it is not used by the new calipers.
