Product details

For the listed later GM truck uprights, this front AERO6-DM package uses 13.38-inch slip-on rotors and six-piston direct-mount calipers. Its included 24-inch flexlines connect the new calipers while the original wheel hubs remain in place. Black calipers and 13.38-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

  • Order specification: manufacturer part number 140-16804; quantity one brake kit.
  • The piston diameter specification is 1.75, 1.62, 1.62 inches, paired with BP-22 brake pads.
  • Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
  • Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
  • Nominal wheel minimum: 17 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
  • Included braided flexline kit: 220-10979. Match its chassis fittings and final routing.
  • Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.
  • Brake rotor specification: GTB Vented Rotor & Hat, with GT slotted friction faces. Overall size is 13.38 × 1.25 inches. Material: Iron.
  • Lug-mounted AERODM calipers are supplied. Each has 6 pistons in stainless, with black powder coat on the caliper body.

Fitment & Compatibility

Coverage is separated by model: Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500 Pickup/1500/1500 LD, Suburban 1500/Suburban and Tahoe; GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup/1500/1500 Limited, Yukon, Yukon XL 1500 and Yukon XL; Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT. Read the individual years, 2007 New Style designation, police-package, pad-clip and rear-brake entries. Dust-shield trimming may be required. Retain and safely secure any factory pad-wear sensor wire as instructed; it is not used by the new calipers.
