Wilwood Front AERO6-DM Calipers and 13.38-Inch Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors for GM 1500 Trucks/SUVs (1999–2007), Red Kit

AERO6-DM calipers mount directly to the documented GM front upright and pair with 13.38-inch one-piece slip-on rotors. Red calipers and 13.38-inch SRP drilled & slotted rotors are the selected configuration. This six-piston front package includes BP-22 pads and the earlier truck flexline kit. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems, with selection governed by the complete brake installation.

Technical Details

• The Wilwood manufacturer part number is 140-16803-DR. This product is sold as a kit.
• The red powder coat caliper bodies are AERODM units with 6 pistons. Stainless pistons and lug mounts are specified.
• 13.38-inch rotors are supplied in the SRP drilled & slotted configuration; the published thickness is 1.25 inch. These rotors use Iron.
• Friction material supplied is BP-22; the caliper bore measurements are 1.75, 1.62, 1.62 inches.
• The original hub arrangement must be retained or provided separately. No replacement wheel hubs come with the kit.
• Caliper inlet thread is 1/8-27 NPT.
• Published minimum rim diameter is 17 inches. Use the template to check spoke clearance as well.
• Braided hydraulic hoses are supplied under reference 220-17129; verify connections and full suspension clearance.
• Supplied items include the pads and mounting fasteners; no replacement spindle, master cylinder or booster is included.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the complete six-lug entries for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup, Suburban 1500, Tahoe and Avalanche 1500; GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup, Yukon and Yukon XL 1500; and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade EXT. The 2007 pickup entries are Classic body style. Match rear-brake package, drivetrain and four-wheel-steering notes where listed. Some dust shields need limited trimming for caliper clearance.
