Wilwood Front AERO6-DM Brake Kit for GM 1500 Trucks/SUVs (1999–2007), Black Calipers and 13.38-Inch GT Slotted Rotors

AERO6-DM calipers mount directly to the documented GM front upright and pair with 13.38-inch one-piece slip-on rotors. This six-piston front package includes BP-22 pads and the earlier truck flexline kit. Black calipers and 13.38-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer identification: 140-16803, supplied as one application-specific kit.
• Rotor dimensions (diameter/width): 13.38 / 1.25 inches. GT Slotted design in Iron.
• Pads supplied: BP-22. Piston bore dimensions: 1.75, 1.62, 1.62 inches.
• The specified caliper hydraulic connection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• Hose package 220-17129 is included. Keep the braided lines free of strain, abrasion and contact with moving parts.
• Service caliper specification: AERODM in black powder coat, using lug mounting and 6 stainless pistons.
• Verify the existing hub dimensions: replacement wheel hubs are outside the scope of this package.
• A 17-inch nominal wheel is the starting point. Its spoke and barrel shape must clear the actual brake assembly.
• Mounting hardware and brake pads come with the kit. Spindles, a master cylinder and a brake booster are not included.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the complete six-lug entries for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup, Suburban 1500, Tahoe and Avalanche 1500; GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup, Yukon and Yukon XL 1500; and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade EXT. The 2007 pickup entries are Classic body style. Match rear-brake package, drivetrain and four-wheel-steering notes where listed. Some dust shields need limited trimming for caliper clearance.
