Wilwood Front GT Slotted Rotor and TX6R Caliper Kit for Ram 1500 Six-Lug (2019–2025), Black / 16 Inch

This TX6R front brake package combines six-piston truck calipers with 16.00-inch rotors, aluminum hats and braided flexlines. It is selected by the Ram 1500 six-lug hub and listed production configuration. Black calipers and 16.00-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Product identification: Wilwood 140-16790. Package quantity: one kit for the stated configuration.
• The brake package includes pads and required mounting hardware, excluding spindles, master cylinder and booster.
• The kit supplies braided flexlines (220-16802). Confirm their chassis-end fit and routing on the actual vehicle.
• Check the wheel-clearance diagram before purchase; the nominal minimum wheel diameter is 20 inches.
• Connect the hydraulic line through the 1/8-27 NPT caliper inlet.
• This assembly leaves the documented wheel hubs in use. It supplies brake components rather than new hubs.
• Rotor-hat stud-hole patterns are 6 X 5.50 inches, separate from the retained hub wheel-pattern specification.
• Rotor mounting is through separate aluminum hats, offset 0.810 inch and finished in black e-coat.
• Piston sizing follows the published 1.75, 1.62, 1.62-inch specification. The included brake-pad compound is BP-22.
• Caliper selection is 6-piston TX6R. Body finish: black powder coat; attachment: radial; piston material: stainless.
• Rotor package uses GT 72 Staggered Vane components. Each is 1.38 inch thick with 16.00-inch diameter and GT slotted faces. Published material: Iron.

Fitment & Compatibility

The application rows cover the listed 2019–2025 Ram 1500 trims, including Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, Lone Star, Rebel and Tradesman, with narrower ranges for HFE, Sport, Special Service, Longhorn, Tungsten and Warlock. Verify the six-lug hub rather than assuming that an earlier or Classic-body 1500 uses this brake package. A 20-inch nominal wheel must also clear the actual caliper profile.
