Wilwood Front AV6R Brake and Flexline Kit for Toyota Hilux (2019), Anodized with 13.28-Inch GT Slotted Rotors

AV6R six-piston front calipers work with 13.28-inch GT rotors, separate aluminum hats and braided hoses in this Toyota Hilux conversion. The anodized calipers and TX1 pads belong to the documented front axle package. Anodized calipers and 13.28-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to match the complete system.

Technical Details

• Wilwood kit number 140-16785; sold as the listed axle brake package.
• AV6R service calipers have 6 pistons and radial mounts. The finish is Type III anodize; piston material is stainless.
• Caliper bore sizes are 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches; the axle pad set uses TX1 compound.
• Separate aluminum hats position the rotor with 1.140 inch offset and a black e-coat finish.
• The hat stud holes are drilled for 6 X 5.50 inches. This does not alter the wheel pattern of the retained hub.
• The original hub arrangement must be retained or provided separately. No replacement wheel hubs come with the kit.
• Caliper inlet thread is 1/8-27 NPT.
• Published minimum rim diameter is 17 inches. Use the template to check spoke clearance as well.
• Braided hydraulic hoses are supplied under reference 220-17199; verify connections and full suspension clearance.
• Supplied items include the pads and mounting fasteners; no replacement spindle, master cylinder or booster is included.
• The supplied rotor measures 13.28 inches across and 1.30 inch thick. Surface configuration: GT slotted; construction: Spec-37 Iron.

Fitment & Compatibility

Wilwood installation sheet DS-1531 identifies the 2019 Toyota Hilux. Confirm that exact hub, upright and six-lug arrangement before ordering for another production year. Installation requires dust-shield trimming; the instructions show approximately 2.60 inches removed at the outer edge. Select the correct hat holes for the actual wheel studs and check the 17-inch wheel drawing.
