Product details

The FNSL6R front conversion pairs six-piston Superlite calipers with 13.06-inch rotors for the DSE C10 drop-spindle setup. Its rotor rings bolt to separate short-offset hats while the existing matching wheel hubs remain in use. Red calipers and 13.06-inch GT slotted rotors are the selected configuration. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was established by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are matched to the requirements of the whole system.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-16781-R. One kit for the documented axle/application.
  • Rotors: 13.06-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness, GT slotted faces, Spec-37 Iron material.
  • Calipers: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R, 6 pistons, stainless piston material. Radial mount and red powder coat finish.
  • Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Included pads: BP-20.
  • Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat, 0.810-inch offset.
  • Hat drillings: 5 x 4.75, 5 x 5.00 inches; the existing wheel hub still determines the wheel-lug pattern.
  • Matching existing wheel hubs are retained; replacement hubs are not included.
  • Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
  • Nominal wheel minimum: 17 inches; verify the complete caliper profile against the wheel drawing.
  • Flexlines are not included. Choose the required hydraulic hoses and adapters separately.
  • Pads and mounting hardware are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are separate.

Fitment & Compatibility

Select this package only for the Detroit Speed and Engineering 1973–1987 C10 drop spindle, not an original truck spindle. Chevrolet Blazer, C10 Pickup, C10, C10 Suburban, K5 Blazer, R10 Pickup and R10 Suburban appear with GMC C15/C1500 Suburban, C1500 Pickup, Jimmy, C15 Suburban, C1500 Suburban, R1500 Pickup and R1500 Suburban. Each entry has its own year coverage. Confirm the DSE hub pattern and the 17-inch wheel template before assembly.
