Plain 11.25-inch rear rotors and red UTV6 calipers equip listed Polaris RZR 1000 and RS1 machines. Check the dynamic adapter and wheel clearance. This UTV conversion combines fixed multi-piston calipers with dynamically mounted solid steel rotors, retaining the specified original hubs. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings serve street-performance, motorsport and specialized applications. Select each component according to the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the Polaris RZR 1000-family and RS1 year/trim rows in the table below before choosing this rear UTV6 assembly. The nonvented steel rotors mount dynamically to adapters on the existing hubs. DS-1500 includes shims for caliper alignment and specifies new supplied banjo bolts and crush washers; the stock banjo bolts must not be reused. Check pad position, wheel shape and the complete range of suspension movement. Aftermarket hubs or suspension parts require a separate clearance assessment, even when the machine is named in the chart.

The rear six-piston caliper uses 1.00-inch piston bores and BP-10 compound pads. The mounting kit includes shims for setting the caliper position relative to the rotor. Verify alignment and pad clearance before securing the banjo connection and testing suspension movement.
