Red six-piston rear calipers clamp drilled steel rotors for listed Polaris RZR 1000 and RS1 models. Confirm the trim, hose routing and wheel envelope. This UTV conversion combines fixed multi-piston calipers with dynamically mounted solid steel rotors, retaining the specified original hubs. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977 in Camarillo, California, where the company is based. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems, producing brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, fittings, valves and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Individual parts are selected to meet the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the Polaris RZR 1000-family and RS1 year/trim rows in the table below before choosing this rear UTV6 assembly. The nonvented steel rotors mount dynamically to adapters on the existing hubs. DS-1500 includes shims for caliper alignment and specifies new supplied banjo bolts and crush washers; the stock banjo bolts must not be reused. Check pad position, wheel shape and the complete range of suspension movement. Aftermarket hubs or suspension parts require a separate clearance assessment, even when the machine is named in the chart.

The rear application list spans specific Polaris XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 versions as well as RS1, S 1000 and S4 1000 models. Trim names such as Trails and Rock, High Lifter, Sport and Ultimate remain tied to their listed years. The red caliper finish and drilled rotor face do not expand that vehicle coverage.
