Wilwood UTV4 Rear Brake Kit with Black Calipers and Plain Dynamic 11.25-Inch Rotors for Honda Talon (2019–2021)

Honda Talon rear brakes combine black UTV4 calipers with plain 11.25-inch rotors. Check model coverage and the original hose modification procedure. This UTV conversion combines fixed multi-piston calipers with dynamically mounted solid steel rotors, retaining the specified original hubs. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977 in Camarillo, California, where the company is based. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems, producing brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, fittings, valves and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Individual parts are selected to meet the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The rear UTV4 assembly is documented for the Honda Talon applications in the table below, including two- and four-seat variants and the listed FOX Live Valve/Special Edition configurations. It uses four-piston calipers and dynamic nonvented rotors with the existing hubs. DS-1496 specifies modification of the original hose tabs, not an included replacement hose kit. Verify the banjo hardware and crush washers, the exact wheel profile and hose clearance through suspension travel. Changes to other suspension or hub components require an additional fit check.

Each rear UTV4 caliper has four 1.00-inch pistons and a specified piston area of 1.58 square inches. That rear hydraulic configuration is distinct from the Talon six-piston front package; match the complete axle kit when planning a conversion.
