Wilwood Plain-Rotor Front Brake Conversion for Honda Talon (2019–2021), Red Six-Piston Calipers and Dynamic Rotor Mounts

Red six-piston front calipers clamp plain steel rotors for the listed Honda Talon. Confirm 15-inch wheel space and modify original hoses as instructed. This UTV conversion combines fixed multi-piston calipers with dynamically mounted solid steel rotors, retaining the specified original hubs. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings serve street-performance, motorsport and specialized applications. Select each component according to the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match every Honda Talon model and trim row in the table below, including the listed 1000R, 1000X and 1000X-4 versions. The six-piston UTV6 conversion reuses the front hubs and uses dynamically mounted nonvented steel rotors. DS-1495 requires modification of the original brake-hose locating tabs; alternative flexlines must be selected separately. Use the supplied M10 × 1.25 banjo hardware and copper washers as instructed. Check at least 0.080-inch caliper-to-wheel clearance and hose movement through the full steering and suspension range.
