Wilwood Promatrix Rear Race Rotor Kit for Chevrolet Corvette C5 (1997–2004) and Base C6 (2005–2013), Parking Brake Delete

Retain stock calipers on Chevrolet Corvette C5 and base C6 with 12-inch Promatrix rear rotors. Race installation deletes the parking brake. The Promatrix package replaces the rear rotors and hats while retaining the correctly matched factory service calipers. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Its range serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; each component must match the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The rotor-only conversion reuses the original service calipers on listed 1997–2004 Corvette C5 and 2005–2013 base C6 rear hubs. It is not the larger C6 Z06/ZR1 rear rotor package. DS-1453 requires removal of the original parking brake assembly; no replacement holding brake is supplied. Check the five-lug hub, 12-inch rotor dimensions and existing pad compatibility. Two-piece iron rotors and aluminum hats are included, with mounting fasteners. This road-racing configuration is not a complete caliper-and-hose conversion.
