Product details

Red AERO6 front calipers and GT slotted rotors replace the listed GM brake assembly. Inspect spindle type, machining scope and 0.10-inch hub change. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977 in Camarillo, California, where the company is based. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems, producing brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, fittings, valves and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Individual parts are selected to meet the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Read the specific GM model, year, drivetrain and brake notes in the table below. The G-Body-style factory disc spindle requires substantial machining: DS-1440 details removal of the original caliper ears and modification of bracket mounting holes. This work belongs with a qualified machine shop. Verify the spindle generation before comparing hub bearings; similar GM spindles are not automatically interchangeable. The +0.10-inch hub change affects wheel placement. Hoses must be sourced to the installed arrangement. A generic parking-cable note does not mean this front kit includes a parking brake.
