Wilwood Superlite 4R-ST Rear Road Race Brake Kit, 13-Inch Dynamic GT Rotors, for Chevrolet Corvette C5/C6 and Cadillac XLR

Corvette C5/C6 and Cadillac XLR rear race kit uses four-piston Superlites and 13-inch GT rotors. Parking brake is deleted; verify wheel clearance. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977 in Camarillo, California, where the company is based. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems, producing brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, fittings, valves and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Fitment & Compatibility

The rear kit covers the listed Corvette C5/C6 and Cadillac XLR configurations and removes the parking brake. DS-1438 calls for removal of the original parking shoes; it does not provide a replacement mechanical or electronic holding brake. The four-piston Superlite 4R-ST caliper works with BP-35 race pads and 13-inch dynamic lug-drive rotors. Select the correct rear flexline kit separately for the model year. Some 17-inch wheels may clear, but only the supplied clearance drawing establishes suitability. Low-temperature use of the race pads increases wear.
