Wilwood Black Superlite 14-Inch GT Rear Brake Kit with EPB for Small Ford Axles, 2.66-Inch Offset and Aluminum Hats

Black Superlite service calipers and separate parking calipers surround 14-inch two-piece rear rotors in this kit. The GT rings attach to aluminum hats, with the installed geometry determined by the Small Ford flange and 2.66-inch axle offset. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and their components for street-performance, motorsport and specialized use. Its caliper, rotor, master-cylinder, valve, fitting and brake-line products are selected according to the complete brake-system requirements.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-16156; supplied as one rear axle brake kit.
• Rotor material and surface: Spec-37 Iron; vented; GT Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Rotor dimensions: 14.00 in; 355.6 mm outside diameter; 1.10 in; 27.94 mm thick.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 in; 457.2 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Narrow Superlite 4R; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; radial mounting; Stainless pistons.
• Rear axle interface: Small Ford housing flange; 2.66 in; 67.56 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Caliper finish and port: Black Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Rotor mounting hats: Aluminum; Black E-Coat; hat offset 2.035 inches. This is a hat dimension, not the axle offset.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.520 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Hydraulic installation: Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use only an axle that matches the documented Small Ford flange and 2.66-inch offset. Rear-end names can conceal different bearing flanges, so measure the installed parts. Check the rotor register, studs, axle retention and complete wheel outline rather than relying on the nominal 18-inch wheel size.

Use the fitment table below together with a measured axle check. A model name alone does not establish conversion compatibility; compare the flange, axle offset, register and chosen wheel pattern. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Parking actuation is electric through a supplied controller, switch with pigtail, universal harness and two motor-driven calipers. The installer must provide suitable vehicle power/ground and ignition/accessory connections and check lead routing to DS1353. These additional calipers are for parking hold, not an emergency stop function.
