Product details

Red Dynalite service calipers are matched with red electric parking units around drilled 12.19-inch rotors in this rear assembly. The included brackets and backing plates must be matched to the Small Ford flange and 2.66-inch axle offset. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 under founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc braking equipment for motorsport, specialized applications and street-performance vehicles. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form part of the range and must match the requirements of the complete system.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number — 140-16154-DR; supplied as one rear axle brake kit.
  • Mechanical contents — Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
  • Parking-brake package — Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
  • Rotor material and surface — Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
  • Rotor dimensions — 12.19 in; 309.63 mm outside diameter; 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
  • Rear axle interface — Small Ford housing flange; 2.66 in; 67.56 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
  • Hydraulic service calipers — Forged Dynalite Internal; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.
  • Supplied service pads — BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
  • Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern — 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
  • Hydraulic installation — Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
  • Caliper finish and port — Red Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
  • Minimum nominal wheel diameter — 15 in; 381 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the actual rear axle to the Small Ford diagram and 2.66-inch offset before disassembly. Verify the bearing arrangement, axle register and wheel-bolt pattern independently, including any changes made during a previous axle conversion. Use the full 15-inch minimum wheel envelope for both caliper positions.

Any vehicle application in the fitment table below depends on the installed axle interface. Compare flange and bearing geometry, axle offset, center register and wheel hardware with the specified assembly. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

A separate electric caliper at each rear wheel performs the parking function; it does not replace the hydraulic service circuit. Supplied EPB equipment includes the controller, switch/pigtail and wiring harness. Install the vehicle power, ground and accessory connections using DS1353. Use the system only for parking hold, not emergency stopping.

PMB Performance has more than 20 years of parts experience and can help assess the documented brake configuration. Provide the vehicle details together with clear mounting-area photographs and measurements.

Review the Installation instructions, Technical bulletin, EPB mounting and wiring instructions before selecting hardware or checking wheel clearance.
