Wilwood Black Rear Dynalite/EPB Kit with Drilled 12.19-Inch Rotors, Small Ford Housing and 2.50-Inch Axle Offset

This drilled 12.19-inch rear package combines black hydraulic service calipers with independent motorized parking calipers. The Small Ford bearing flange and 2.50-inch offset must be verified before the new mounting hardware is installed. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range includes calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, chosen to suit the mounting and hydraulic requirements of the complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-16150-D; supplied as one rear axle brake kit.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Dynalite Internal; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.
• Rotor material and surface: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Hydraulic installation: Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Rear axle interface: Small Ford housing flange; 2.50 in; 63.5 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Rotor dimensions: 12.19 in; 309.63 mm outside diameter; 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Caliper finish and port: Black Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.

Fitment & Compatibility

Installation requires the Small Ford housing flange and a measured 2.50-inch axle offset. Compare the housing bolt pattern, bearing/axle retention, wheel pattern and center registration with the kit drawing, then check both service-caliper and EPB-motor clearance. Nominal 15-inch wheel diameter is only the starting point.

Use the fitment table below together with a measured axle check. A model name alone does not establish conversion compatibility; compare the flange, axle offset, register and chosen wheel pattern. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Service braking remains hydraulic; the additional electric calipers are for static parking hold and must not be used as an emergency stop brake. The switch/pigtail, controller and universal EPB harness are supplied. Plan the vehicle’s 12V power, ground and ignition/accessory wiring and protect all motor leads according to DS1353.
