Wilwood Small Ford Rear Electronic Parking Brake Conversion, Red Low-Profile Calipers and Drilled 11-Inch Rotors, 2.50-Inch Offset

Red service calipers and red EPB calipers surround the drilled-and-slotted rotor assemblies in this compact rear conversion. The measured 2.50-inch axle offset and matching Small Ford housing flange determine bracket alignment. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc braking systems and components for street-performance, motorsport and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to work within the complete installation.

• Parking-brake package — Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.

• Hydraulic installation — Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Rear axle interface — Small Ford housing flange; 2.50 in; 63.5 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern — 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter — 14 in; 355.6 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Rotor dimensions — 11.00 in; 279.4 mm outside diameter; 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Caliper finish and port — Red Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor material and surface — Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Supplied service pads — BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Hydraulic service calipers — Forged Dynapro Low Profile; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the actual rear axle to the Small Ford diagram and 2.50-inch offset before disassembly. Verify the bearing arrangement, axle register and wheel-bolt pattern independently, including any changes made during a previous axle conversion. Use the full 14-inch minimum wheel envelope for both caliper positions.

Review the fitment table below after identifying the rear axle. Confirm housing-flange dimensions, retention hardware, offset, register and wheel pattern against the kit drawing. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Parking actuation is electric through a supplied controller, switch with pigtail, universal harness and two motor-driven calipers. The installer must provide suitable vehicle power/ground and ignition/accessory connections and check lead routing to DS1353. These additional calipers are for parking hold, not an emergency stop function.
