Wilwood Drilled 11-Inch Rear Disc Conversion with Black Low-Profile Dynapro Calipers and EPB, Big Ford 2.36-Inch Offset

Black low-profile service calipers and drilled 11-inch rotor/hat assemblies form this Big Ford rear conversion. The parking system uses dedicated EPB calipers and an included controller, rather than converting the hydraulic service caliper into a cable brake. From its Camarillo, California base, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with individual parts matched to the complete braking arrangement.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-16141-D; supplied as one rear axle brake kit.
• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
• Rear axle interface: Big Ford housing flange; 2.36 in; 59.94 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 14 in; 355.6 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Hydraulic installation: Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Rotor dimensions: 11.00 in; 279.4 mm outside diameter; 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Rotor material and surface: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Dynapro Low Profile; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.
• Caliper finish and port: Black Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.

Fitment & Compatibility

Installation requires the Big Ford housing flange and a measured 2.36-inch axle offset. Compare the housing bolt pattern, bearing/axle retention, wheel pattern and center registration with the kit drawing, then check both service-caliper and EPB-motor clearance. Nominal 14-inch wheel diameter is only the starting point.

Vehicle fitment in the table below remains conditional on axle identity. Measure the housing flange, bearing/retention arrangement, register and offset rather than relying on vehicle year. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

A separate electric caliper at each rear wheel performs the parking function; it does not replace the hydraulic service circuit. Supplied EPB equipment includes the controller, switch/pigtail and wiring harness. Install the vehicle power, ground and accessory connections using DS1353. Use the system only for parking hold, not emergency stopping.
