Wilwood Rear Superlite Electronic Parking Brake Package with Black Calipers and Drilled 14-Inch Rotors, New Big Ford 2.36-Inch Axle

This rear package uses drilled 14-inch Spec-37 rings on aluminum hats and black Superlite 4R service calipers. The supplied motorized parking units require their own connector clearance as well as the mechanical wheel space shown in the kit drawing. From its Camarillo, California base, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with individual parts matched to the complete braking arrangement.

• Caliper finish and port: Black Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Rear axle interface: Big Ford New Style housing flange; 2.36 in; 59.94 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Rotor material and surface: Spec-37 Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Narrow Superlite 4R; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; radial mounting; Stainless pistons.
• Hydraulic installation: Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.520 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 in; 457.2 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Rotor dimensions: 14.00 in; 355.6 mm outside diameter; 1.10 in; 27.94 mm thick.
• Rotor mounting hats: Aluminum; Black E-Coat; hat offset 1.625 inches. This is a hat dimension, not the axle offset.

Fitment & Compatibility

Installation requires the Big Ford New Style housing flange and a measured 2.36-inch axle offset. Compare the housing bolt pattern, bearing/axle retention, wheel pattern and center registration with the kit drawing, then check both service-caliper and EPB-motor clearance. Nominal 18-inch wheel diameter is only the starting point.

The fitment table below is subject to physical axle-interface confirmation. Check housing flange, bearing arrangement, offset, wheel-stud pattern and center register before ordering. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Service braking remains hydraulic; the additional electric calipers are for static parking hold and must not be used as an emergency stop brake. The switch/pigtail, controller and universal EPB harness are supplied. Plan the vehicle’s 12V power, ground and ignition/accessory wiring and protect all motor leads according to DS1353.
