Wilwood Rear Electronic Parking Brake and Drilled Dynalite Kit, Black Calipers, Big Ford New-Style Flange, 12.19-Inch Rotors and 2.36-Inch Offset

This black Dynalite conversion replaces the rear drum arrangement on an appropriately measured axle with drilled-and-slotted rotors. Separate electric parking calipers and the supplied controller eliminate the need for mechanical parking-brake cables. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering manufactures and designs disc brake systems and components. The range serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications with calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Matching individual components requires considering the full brake assembly.

• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Rotor material and surface: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Dynalite Internal; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.

• Rear axle interface: Big Ford New Style housing flange; 2.36 in; 59.94 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.

Fitment & Compatibility

Installation requires the Big Ford New Style housing flange and a measured 2.36-inch axle offset. Compare the housing bolt pattern, bearing/axle retention, wheel pattern and center registration with the kit drawing, then check both service-caliper and EPB-motor clearance. Nominal 15-inch wheel diameter is only the starting point.

The fitment table below is subject to physical axle-interface confirmation. Check housing flange, bearing arrangement, offset, wheel-stud pattern and center register before ordering. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Service braking remains hydraulic; the additional electric calipers are for static parking hold and must not be used as an emergency stop brake. The switch/pigtail, controller and universal EPB harness are supplied. Plan the vehicle’s 12V power, ground and ignition/accessory wiring and protect all motor leads according to DS1353.
