Wilwood Black Dynapro-LP Rear Brake Conversion with Drilled 11-Inch Rotors and EPB, Big Ford New-Style Axles, 2.36-Inch Offset

This drilled-rotor Dynapro-LP package provides rear service braking and electrically operated parking hold in separate calipers. Black powder-coated bodies, 11-inch iron rotors and a complete EPB control set are specified for the new-style Big Ford interface. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and their components for street-performance, motorsport and specialized use. Its caliper, rotor, master-cylinder, valve, fitting and brake-line products are selected according to the complete brake-system requirements.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-16129-D; supplied as one rear axle brake kit.
• Rotor dimensions: 11.00 in; 279.4 mm outside diameter; 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
• Rotor material and surface: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish Black Electro Coat.
• Caliper finish and port: Black Powder Coat; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rear axle interface: Big Ford New Style housing flange; 2.36 in; 59.94 mm axle offset. Measure the installed assembly.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Hydraulic installation: Hydraulic lines and fittings are separate and must be selected for the vehicle; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 14 in; 355.6 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
• Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Dynapro Low Profile; 4 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; lug mounting; Stainless pistons.
• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

Installation requires the Big Ford New Style housing flange and a measured 2.36-inch axle offset. Compare the housing bolt pattern, bearing/axle retention, wheel pattern and center registration with the kit drawing, then check both service-caliper and EPB-motor clearance. Nominal 14-inch wheel diameter is only the starting point.

Use the fitment table below together with a measured axle check. A model name alone does not establish conversion compatibility; compare the flange, axle offset, register and chosen wheel pattern. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

Service braking remains hydraulic; the additional electric calipers are for static parking hold and must not be used as an emergency stop brake. The switch/pigtail, controller and universal EPB harness are supplied. Plan the vehicle’s 12V power, ground and ignition/accessory wiring and protect all motor leads according to DS1353.
