Wilwood Red Dynalite Rear Brakes with Drilled Rotors and Electric Parking Brake, Big Ford New-Style Bronco Axle, 2.36-Inch Offset

Red hydraulic calipers and matching electric parking calipers share the drilled 12.19-inch rotor assembly in this rear conversion. The kit includes the parking-brake controller and harness, while axle fit depends on the new-style Big Ford Bronco mounting geometry. Camarillo, California is home to Wilwood Engineering, the company Bill Wood founded in 1977. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc braking systems and components for street-performance, motorsport and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to work within the complete installation.

• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern — 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 5.5 in; 5 x 139.7 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.56 in; 14.22 mm; 0.64 in; 16.26 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the actual rear axle to the Big Ford New Style Bronco diagram and 2.36-inch offset before disassembly. Verify the bearing arrangement, axle register and wheel-bolt pattern independently, including any changes made during a previous axle conversion. Use the full 15-inch minimum wheel envelope for both caliper positions. DS1434 identifies the 1974–1975 Ford Bronco medium-duty axle with the 10 x 2.5-inch drum arrangement; the same measured interface remains essential.

Vehicle fitment in the table below remains conditional on axle identity. Measure the housing flange, bearing/retention arrangement, register and offset rather than relying on vehicle year. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

A separate electric caliper at each rear wheel performs the parking function; it does not replace the hydraulic service circuit. Supplied EPB equipment includes the controller, switch/pigtail and wiring harness. Install the vehicle power, ground and accessory connections using DS1353. Use the system only for parking hold, not emergency stopping.
