Wilwood Rear Dynalite Electronic Parking Brake Conversion for New-Style Big Ford Bronco Axles, 2.36-Inch Offset, Black with Plain 12.19-Inch Rotors

This black Dynalite rear conversion combines hydraulic service brakes with separate electric parking calipers. Plain 12.19-inch iron rotor/hat assemblies suit the specified new-style Big Ford Bronco flange and measured 2.36-inch axle offset. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering manufactures and designs disc brake systems and components. Matching individual components requires considering the full brake assembly.

• Parking-brake package: Two separate electric parking calipers, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness included; vehicle electrical connections require installation.
• Supplied service pads: BP-10 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.

• Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 5.5 in; 5 x 139.7 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.64 in; 16.26 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use only an axle that matches the documented Big Ford New Style Bronco flange and 2.36-inch offset. Rear-end names can conceal different bearing flanges, so measure the installed parts. Check the rotor register, studs, axle retention and complete wheel outline rather than relying on the nominal 15-inch wheel size. DS1434 identifies the 1974–1975 Ford Bronco medium-duty axle with the 10 x 2.5-inch drum arrangement; the same measured interface remains essential.

Use the fitment table below together with a measured axle check. A model name alone does not establish conversion compatibility; compare the flange, axle offset, register and chosen wheel pattern. For a 1990 Lincoln Town Car, identify the actual axle and confirm the specified interface; do not select this conversion from model and year alone.

The EPB is a parking-hold system, not an emergency stopping brake. It includes a separate left/right motor-driven caliper pair, control unit, switch with pigtail and universal wiring harness. Vehicle power, ground, ignition/accessory connections and protected cable routing must be installed to DS1353; it is not a plug-in factory-harness replacement.
