This Superlite 6R/ST front package converts the documented Hyundai Veloster to a dedicated road-race brake arrangement. Six-piston hard-anodized calipers work with 13.06-inch GT rotors on dynamic lug-drive hats, with braided flexlines supplied to complete the hydraulic connection. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, specialized vehicles and street-performance applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected in relation to the other components in the finished brake system.

- Manufacturer part number: 140-15996; supplied as one front axle brake kit.
- Hydraulic installation: Braided flexlines are included; master cylinder not included; brake booster not included.
- Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm; full spoke/barrel clearance must be checked using the installation drawing.
- Supplied service pads: BP-35 compound; verify suitability for the intended operating conditions.
- Rotor material and surface: Spec-37 Iron; vented; GT Slotted; surface finish Plain.
- Hydraulic service calipers: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons per caliper; Forged Aluminium body; radial mounting; Thermlock pistons.
- Rotor dimensions: 13.06 in; 331.72 mm outside diameter; 1.25 in; 31.75 mm thick.
- Cataloged rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm bolt circle; cataloged stud-hole clearances 0.500 in; 12.70 mm. The existing hub or axle flange determines the vehicle wheel pattern and stud specification. These rotor/hat drillings do not convert that pattern.
- Rotor mounting hats: Aluminum; Type III Anodize; hat offset 0.490 inches. This is a hat dimension, not the axle offset.
- Caliper finish and port: Type III Anodize; hydraulic inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
- Mechanical contents: Separate wheel hubs are not included; mounting hardware supplied; spindles not included.
- Flexline reference: Front Line Kit: 220-15994.
Fitment & Compatibility
Wilwood identifies 2019–2022 Hyundai Veloster applications, while DS1376 details the 2019 factory axle-hub installation. Verify the exact upright, hub register and 17-inch wheel envelope against that drawing before ordering. The BP-35 pads are for high-temperature racing; prolonged low-temperature use accelerates pad and rotor wear.
