Wilwood Red AERO6 Front Hub Brake Kit with 14-Inch GT Slotted Rotors for Later GM Truck/Van/SUV Iron ProSpindle Conversions (Listed 1988–2002 Applications)

For the listed later GM truck, SUV and van ProSpindle applications, this red AERO6 package supplies six-piston front calipers and 14-inch GT rotors. Separate aluminum hats and five-lug hubs carry the slotted rings, with BP-20 pads included. The required iron Pro Drop spindles and hydraulic hoses are not supplied. Check spindle generation, exact production span and wheel clearance before building the conversion. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range includes calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with each component chosen for its role in the complete brake installation.

• Rotor specification: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; GT 72 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.230 inch.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-16439.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed later GM truck, van and SUV applications require the matching Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. Original equipment spindles will not fit. The table has distinct 1988–1998 pickup entries and later SUV/van ranges, with certain van applications extending to 2002; do not apply one overall span to every model. Confirm the correct spindle generation, five-lug wheel interface, full hub seating and clearance around the caliper. Flexible brake lines are ordered separately for the vehicle being built.
