Wilwood Black AERO6 Front Hub Conversion with 14-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Listed Later GM Truck/Van/SUV Iron ProSpindle Applications (Listed 1988–2002 Applications)

This AERO6 front package supplies black six-piston calipers with drilled/slotted 14-inch rotors and BP-10 pads. The five-lug hubs and separate hats are specified for later GM applications using Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. A factory-spindle vehicle needs a different brake package. Confirm the applicable model/year row and check the AERO6 wheel-clearance drawing before planning flexible-line routing. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-15951-D. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-16439.
• Service caliper: AERO6; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, black powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.230 inch.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed later GM truck, van and SUV applications require the matching Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. Original equipment spindles will not fit. The table has distinct 1988–1998 pickup entries and later SUV/van ranges, with certain van applications extending to 2002; do not apply one overall span to every model. Confirm the correct spindle generation, five-lug wheel interface, full hub seating and clearance around the caliper. Flexible brake lines are ordered separately for the vehicle being built.
