Wilwood Later GM Truck/Van/SUV Front GT Brake System, 14-Inch Rotors and Black Superlite 6R Calipers with Five-Lug Iron ProSpindle Hubs (Listed 1988–2002 Applications)

Black Superlite 6R front calipers and 14-inch GT rotor rings make up this larger brake package for listed later GM iron ProSpindles. Separate hats and aluminum hubs are supplied with BP-20 pads. The 18-inch nominal wheel requirement reflects the larger assembly; actual wheel seating and spoke clearance still require a drawing check. Identify the installed spindle and exact truck, SUV or van application first. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. This kit is one configuration within that disc-brake-system range and must be matched to the vehicle build.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-15950. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Rotor specification: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; GT 72 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.230 inch.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, black powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-16439.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed later GM truck, van and SUV applications require the matching Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. Original equipment spindles will not fit. The table has distinct 1988–1998 pickup entries and later SUV/van ranges, with certain van applications extending to 2002; do not apply one overall span to every model. Confirm the correct spindle generation, five-lug wheel interface, full hub seating and clearance around the caliper. Flexible brake lines are ordered separately for the vehicle being built.
