Wilwood Five-Lug Superlite Front Conversion for Later GM Truck/Van/SUV Iron ProSpindles, 13.06-Inch GT Rotors and Black Six-Piston Calipers (Listed 1988–2002 Applications)

This black Superlite front hub kit uses 13.06-inch GT slotted rotors and BP-20 pads for the documented later GM iron ProSpindle conversion. Aluminum hubs and separate hats are included. It covers the listed truck, SUV and van applications only with the required Wilwood spindle fitted. Confirm the vehicle's precise production span, then check the larger brake envelope inside a suitable 17-inch or larger wheel. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, designs and manufactures disc brake systems from its Camarillo, California base. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications use its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Correct component selection depends on the requirements of the entire braking system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-15949. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Rotor specification: 13.06-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; GT 48 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 48 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.230 inch.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, black powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-16439.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed later GM truck, van and SUV applications require the matching Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. Original equipment spindles will not fit. The table has distinct 1988–1998 pickup entries and later SUV/van ranges, with certain van applications extending to 2002; do not apply one overall span to every model. Confirm the correct spindle generation, five-lug wheel interface, full hub seating and clearance around the caliper. Flexible brake lines are ordered separately for the vehicle being built.
