Wilwood Front Superlite 6R Brake Kit, Black Calipers and 12.19-Inch GT Rotors with Five-Lug Hubs for Listed Later GM Truck/Van/SUV Iron ProSpindles (Listed 1988–2002 Applications)

This later-GM front hub package combines black Superlite 6R calipers and 12.19-inch GT rotors with BP-10 pads. The application list includes trucks, SUVs and vans across distinct production spans, all conditional on the matching Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindle. Five-lug aluminum hubs and separate hats are supplied. It is not the earlier truck-spindle kit, despite sharing the rotor diameter and caliper family. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to suit the complete braking system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-15948. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Rotor specification: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Iron construction; Ultralite HPS 32 design; published vane configuration: 32 V.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Short Offset. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, black powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-16439.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed later GM truck, van and SUV applications require the matching Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. Original equipment spindles will not fit. The table has distinct 1988–1998 pickup entries and later SUV/van ranges, with certain van applications extending to 2002; do not apply one overall span to every model. Confirm the correct spindle generation, five-lug wheel interface, full hub seating and clearance around the caliper. Flexible brake lines are ordered separately for the vehicle being built.
