Wilwood Front Brake Package with Red AERO6 Calipers, Six-Lug Hubs and 14-Inch GT Slotted Rotors for GM Truck/SUV Iron ProSpindles (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

The red/GT AERO6 six-lug package is the 14-inch front brake option for the stated GM truck and SUV iron ProSpindle installations. Separate aluminum hats and 6 × 5.50-inch hubs support the slotted rotor rings, with BP-20 pads supplied. The kit does not include its required Pro Drop spindles or brake hoses. Verify those items, the application row and the clearance envelope inside the intended wheels. • Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The six-lug front AERO6 system mounts to the required Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles, not the original GM spindle. Match the 6 × 5.50-inch hubs to the wheels, then compare the inner wheel shape to the AERO6 clearance drawing. The table below identifies the supported GM truck/SUV model years and spindle conditions. These brakes and spindles change stock wheel position by 0.41 inch outward on 1963–1970 applications, and by 0.06 inch inward on 1971–1987 applications. That movement matters when checking fender and suspension clearance as well as wheel backspacing. Obtain the required spindles and suitable flexlines separately, and evaluate brake bias with the existing rear system.
