Red Superlite 6R service calipers and drilled/slotted 14.00-inch rotors sit on separate hats and six-lug hubs in this front conversion. The supplied BP-10 pads belong to the SRP configuration. It requires Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles on the documented GM truck/SUV application. Confirm the 6 × 5.50-inch wheel interface, complete hub seating and available space behind the wheel spokes. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to suit the complete braking system.

- Manufacturer part number: 140-15946-DR. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
- Rotor specification: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
- Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
- Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
- Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
- Wheel mounting pattern: 6 x 5.50 inches.
- Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
- Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
- Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
- Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
- Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use the exact GM truck/SUV row below to establish the year and application conditions, then verify the spindle itself. This six-lug conversion requires Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; original equipment spindles do not fit. Its 6 × 5.50-inch hub pattern must match the wheels, whose internal profile must clear both the 14-inch rotor and radial caliper. For wheel-position planning, Wilwood specifies 0.41 inch outboard on 1963–1970 applications and 0.06 inch inboard on 1971–1987 applications relative to the stock brakes/spindles. The completed brake system needs suitable hydraulic balance and secure flexlines throughout steering and suspension travel. Purchase the spindles and appropriate hoses separately.
